60% more traffic in the first month.
Not month six. Month one, before SEO had time to compound. That is what a technical rebuild does when the old site was holding the business back.
Traffic in the first month
Build, start to finish
Spent on advertising
Kiwi Custom Construction builds custom pools, a high-consideration purchase where the buyer researches for weeks before calling anyone. Their website was losing that comparison. We replaced it through the Foundation Package with brand assets, a purpose-built site and a properly configured Google Business Profile. Traffic rose 60% in the first month.
The situation
Kiwi Custom Construction builds custom pools: high-consideration, high-ticket work where a homeowner researches for weeks before they call anyone. That buyer looks at your website closely. If it's slow, thin, or doesn't show the work, they quietly move to the next builder and you never learn you were in the running.
Dan's site wasn't winning that comparison.
What we did
The Foundation Package, start to finish: brand assets, a purpose-built website, and a fully optimised Google Business Profile.
The build was organised around how someone actually buys a pool. Project galleries doing the persuading rather than paragraphs of copy. Fast on a phone, because that's where the first look happens. Structured so search engines could understand what Kiwi builds and where, which most contractor sites fail at entirely. And one clear action on every page instead of a contact form buried in the footer.
We also set up the Google Business Profile properly: categories, service areas, real project photography and a review flow, so the business could show up in the map pack for pool searches in its area rather than only in organic results.
What happened
Traffic rose 60% in the first month. Not month six. Month one, before SEO had time to compound.
That's what a technical rebuild does when the previous site was holding the business back: the demand was already there, being lost to a site that couldn't convert or couldn't be found. Fixing the foundation released it.
Evan did a great job on our website and offered lots of wonderful advice and tips on how to promote website traffic and improve our business. I would not hesitate to recommend him for all your website needs.
Why this one matters for concrete contractors
Pools and concrete are the same sale: expensive, considered, researched. A homeowner spending $40,000 behaves the same way whether it's a pool or a driveway and patio package. They compare three or four companies, mostly on a phone, mostly at night, and they eliminate on photographs and load time before they ever read a word about your crew.
The mechanics that lifted Kiwi's traffic in thirty days are the mechanics in the Foundation Package. Nothing about them is specific to pools.
Most contractor websites are the bottleneck, not the marketing.
If yours is the thing losing the comparison, the fix is one build rather than a bigger ad budget on top of a broken foundation.
