Three new markets, and 17× back in 90 days.
Valley West Concrete had run out of Langley. Two location pages and three Google Business Profiles opened Greater Vancouver, Vernon and Kelowna. No ad spend at all.

Spent on advertising
Valley West saturated Langley and needed territory rather than more referrals. We built two location pages and three Google Business Profiles for Greater Vancouver, Vernon and Kelowna. Ninety days later the return was 17× on everything spent, with no advertising budget, and the business no longer depends on one geography's season.
The situation
Valley West was already the concrete company people in Langley recommended. Good crews, good work, a reputation that held up. And that was the problem. They had run out of Langley.
Every contractor hits this. You saturate your town, referrals plateau, and the only way up is either bigger jobs or more territory. Travis wanted territory. Specifically Greater Vancouver, plus Vernon and Kelowna, where construction was moving faster than the local supply of good concrete crews.
What he didn't want was to hire a marketing department or bet the season on ad spend. He needed a plan that was cheap enough to be wrong about and fast enough to matter this year.
What we did
Two location pages built to convert, not to impress
One for Vernon, one for Kelowna. Each written around how people in that city actually search: service plus place, not industry jargon. Clear services, clear pricing signals, one obvious action on the page, and real reviews sitting where a stranger would look for reassurance. Deliberately lightweight, because a page that takes three weeks to build costs more than it returns.
A Google Business Profile per market
This is the part contractors skip and it's the part that produces. Most concrete searches end in the map pack, not in the blue links. We created and optimised a profile for each new service area: categories, service lists, photos of real jobs, and a review flow so each region started building its own local proof instead of leaning on Langley's.
Local SEO for compounding lead flow
Geo-targeted content, on-page and technical work on the main site, and off-page authority building. Slower than ads to start, but it doesn't stop when you stop paying. That distinction is the whole reason this strategy fit a contractor who didn't want a monthly ad bill.
What happened
Ninety days in, Valley West had a 17× return on everything spent, landing pages and SEO included. Not from ads. From two pages and three properly built profiles.
More usefully, the work stopped being seasonal in one geography. Leads now come from Langley, Greater Vancouver, Vernon and Kelowna, which means a slow month in one market doesn't empty the schedule. The jobs coming out of the new regions also skew larger, because they arrive from search rather than from a neighbour's recommendation for a small repair.
Valley West is now hiring to keep up. We're helping with that too.
The arithmetic on the new locations
The two location pages settle at roughly five additional leads each per month, ten leads a month between them. At Valley West's 30% close rate, that's three additional jobs a month, every month, from two pages that were built once.
Here is what that produces at three different average job values.
| Average job | Revenue / month | Revenue / year |
|---|---|---|
| $2,500 | $7,500 | $90,000 |
| $5,000 | $15,000 | $180,000 |
| $8,000 | $24,000 | $288,000 |
Revenue multiples flatter everybody, so here it is on gross profit at a 30% margin, which is the number that actually reaches the contractor's pocket.
| Average job | Gross profit / month | Gross profit / year |
|---|---|---|
| $2,500 | $2,250 | $27,000 |
| $5,000 | $4,500 | $54,000 |
| $8,000 | $7,200 | $86,400 |
Assumptions, stated plainly: 10 leads a month across two location pages, a 30% close rate, a 30% gross margin, and full lead volume from month three onward. Location pages take 60 to 90 days to reach steady ranking, so months one and two run lighter than this. We publish the working because a contractor who can see it can argue with it, and a bare multiple with no inputs reads like every other agency claim.

What's next
Meta advertising into the strongest markets, continued SEO expansion into adjacent service categories, and hiring support to staff the demand.
Two pages and three profiles opened three markets.
If your city is still open, the same plan is available to you. Fifteen minutes tells you whether it is.
